The old trading post of Breidablikk is located in the heart of the municipal centre, Oppeid. Since 1845 it has been an important meeting place in the district. The shop is still in use selling craftwork and functioning as a tourist information centre. Caf  Breidablikk offers freshly baked produce and refreshments in the main building or the garden. In the cowshed there is an exhibition of 100 gnomes   -   an exhibition for children of all ages. Get to know their secret lives! Temporary exhibitions are held in the hayloft. Films can be seen in Tingsalen cinema. Guided tours of the farm are available and the fields provide opportunities for games and recreation. Accommodation for two people is available in Kappelangården.

The old Hamsund  school

School /classroom dating from 1892 and in use until 1965. Furnished in the style of the 1930s. Guided tours on request.
