Meløy Bygdemuseum is situated in idyllic surroundings at Øde on RV17. The museum consists of two school buildings dating from 1870 and 1923. Many of the permanent exhibits are related to life at the school. In addition there are rooms devoted to farming and fishing.
The café is open in the summer and it is possible to grill your own food in the garden in the barbecues provided. The museum also sells a few souvenirs, books, postcards, etc..
